Schmid lump wood heaters are economical in consumption, durable, have a high efficiency and pay for themselves after a short time. The wide range of products covers different needs. With a power range from 15 to 80 kW, our log boilers are particularly suitable for single-family and multi-family houses as well as for agricultural operations.

The boilers are tested according to EN303-5:2012 and have reached the highest boiler class 5. Of course, the lump wood furnaces are also awarded with the quality seal of Holzenergie Schweiz.

An important prerequisite for optimal combustion is the correct storage of the fuel; wood log should be well ventilated and stored in a dry place for approx. 2 - 3 years, depending on the thickness. Too moist or dirty lump wood is not only uneconomical to burn, but can also lead to more pollutant emissions at low combustion temperatures.

In principle, an oil tank can be replaced 1:1 and the existing space can continue to be used.
